Self-Massage Techniques Class

Join us to learn the basics of self-massage!
Increase flexibility, reduce muscle pain, reduce chronic injury, and make the most of your workouts.
Whether you sit too much, are training every day at Booty Camp, or caring for children all day, your body develops tension that restricts motion and creates pain. In this class you will learn to release and ease these restrictions. We’ll use a variety of self-massage techniques with tools including foam rollers, tennis balls, and golf balls–and of course our own hands to massage and stretch our whole body. We’ll also introduce techniques to improve energy flow and balance.
Some materials will be provided but please bring your own foam roller.
Please purchase and bring your own full length roller (generally about 3 ft long and 6″ in diameter). Foam rollers can be purchased at Road Runner Sports online or in store.
